Becoming an Outfitter

As a professional outfitter, you are legally able to provide guided hunting experiences to guests who come to Alberta from other provinces or jurisdictions. With a diverse assortment of highly desirable species and beautiful terrain, Alberta is a top destination for international travelers. In order to become an outfitter, you will need to obtain an outfitter-guide permit from the Alberta Professional Outfitters Society (APOS).
